M&AMI (Mergers and Acquisitions Master Intermediary)

The M&AMI (Mergers and Acquisitions Master Intermediary) is a professional designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) to experienced M&A advisors who specialize in mid-market transactions. The M&AMI requires more advanced coursework and a longer track record of completed transactions than the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation.

M&AMI holders typically work on transactions in the $5 million to $100 million range and are experienced in running competitive sale processes, working with institutional buyers, negotiating complex deal structures, and managing multi-party transactions involving legal, accounting, and financial advisor teams.
