Advisor Standard is an informational directory of Canadian business brokers and M&A advisors. Profile information is compiled from publicly accessible sources, including industry association directories, and may be supplemented by information submitted directly by advisors through the claim process.

Advisor Standard is an independent editorial publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any industry association, including IBBA, M&A Source, or CABB.

Advisor Standard makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and current profile information, but we do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information on the Site. Profile data is sourced from public records and may not reflect recent changes to an advisor's credentials, affiliations, or practice.

Advisor Standard does not independently verify designations, credentials, or past transaction claims for unclaimed profiles. Verification status is shown clearly on each profile and reflects only the information we have been able to confirm through public record cross-referencing.

You should independently verify any information before making a business decision based on content from this Site.

Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, legal, investment, or business advice. Advisor Standard does not recommend or endorse any advisor listed on the Site. The directory is provided for informational purposes only. Any engagement you enter into with an advisor you discover through this Site is solely between you and that advisor.

Advisors may claim their profiles by submitting the claim form at advisorstandard.com/claim. By submitting a claim, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the advisor named in the profile, or are authorised to act on their behalf
• The information you submit is accurate and not misleading
• You will promptly notify us of any material changes to your submitted information

Advisor Standard reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any profile claim at its sole discretion. Approval of a claim does not constitute an endorsement of the advisor or their services.

The editorial content, design, methodology, and ranking systems on this Site are the property of 1001635274 Ontario Inc. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

Advisor profile information sourced from public records is not claimed as proprietary. However, the compilation, organisation, and presentation of that information on this Site is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You may not use this Site to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce profile data in bulk without written permission
• Submit false or misleading information through the claim form
• Attempt to claim a profile you are not authorised to claim
• Interfere with the Site's operation or circumvent any security measure
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Advisor Standard and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on any information contained therein.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars ($100 CAD).

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
